Image and communication design for the 14th Lemesos International Documentary festival.
Recording and delivering facts, situations and facets of reality –what essentially is a documentary– creates an impression, a ripple effect, which commences from the creator, moves to the audience and then bounces from the audience further to more people. Departing from the premise of a circular ripple effect, moving on to a linear spread, (as more people become aware of the above facts/situations/reality through a documentary) and arriving to the unfolding of perceptions:
Each viewer explores, experiences, unfolds and perceives the information given to them via a documentary differently.
The converging and diverging lines that form the peaks, folds, and valleys represent the aforementioned unfolding each viewer does.
