Oh Land's previous album, her 2011 self-titled release, is one of my favorite albums of the past few years. And though I thought it would be hard for her to outpass that, it seems that Nanna Øland Fabricius is on track to just do so.
The first single off the forthcoming "Wishbone", titled Renaissance Girls apart from being a gorgeous song itself, it's complemented by perhaps one of the most simple, yet, beautiful videos I've seen lately. Directed by Duncan Winecoff and produced by All:Expanded, the video features some beautiful long takes, some great choreography in there, and though I am usually very skeptical when artists use kids in their videos, for some reason I absolutely loved how they did that here. Also: four-wheelers used at the peak of the song; brilliant!
"Wishbone" comes out September 24th. Love the artwork for that too.
